This property is in Torreblanca, a suburb situated on the outskirts of the bustling town of Fuengirola. It is a quiet suburb of Fuengirola with easy access to Fuengirola via the excellent local buses and train service. Torreblanca is 20 minutes walking distance to Fuengirola town centre or just 3 minutes by train. You can also travel down the coast to Malaga from the same station. There are 5 golf courses within 15 minutes drive. The beautiful towns of Los Boliches and Fuengirola are linked by a leisurely promenade walk. Torreblanca is also very close to Benalmadena Costa. Benalmadena offers one of the finest Marinas in Spain with large numbers of restaurants and bars. Torreblanca seafront stretches along the famous five miles of sandy beaches, with magnificent views of the Mediterranean and the coastline all the way to Fuengirola. There are many restaurants in Torreblanca but a very special restaurant is: Roca Tranquila - All windows in the restaurant offer a fantastic view of the Fuengirola. In the first section of the restaurant guests can follow the chef’s preparation. Roca Tranquila is superior and modern with highly committed and professional chefs. The leading edge style of food is contemporary, with its origin in the classic Spanish kitchen. The menu is based on high quality and fresh ingredients of the season, mainly from producers in Andalusia and the Mediterranean area.

FUENGIROLA:

Fuengirola is an international resort, with tourists and residents of every nationality. There are very few home comforts you can’t find here. Fuengirola is particularly popular with tourists with a wide variety of entertainment and restaurants to choose from Andalucian traditional tapas (snacks bars) to local fish restaurants to the British Fry-up’s. Fuengirola offers entertainment for all tastes and ages from a ride on the tourist train or horse and carriage around the town. Enjoy a day at the water park plus Fuengirola also offers a wide range of sports, including water sports at the marina.

There are markets on a Tuesday and Saturday is a giant car boot sale and a craft and tourist market. They are located on the Recinto Ferial site. At night, Fuengirola truly comes alive with every kind of bar, restaurant and club you can imagine. Fuengirola is an international resort that is well established. If visiting Spain, Fuengirola is a good base to explore the Costa del Sol and Andalucia. Fuengirola is an international resort, with tourists and residents of every nationality. At night, Fuengirola truly comes alive with every kind of bar, restaurant and club you can imagine. Here you will also find cinemas with a wide range of films, theatres with a full programme and in the summer, regular festivals and concerts at the castle. Fuengirola may appear to be over-developed but, if you look hard enough, you will find several sunny parks in which to sit. One such park is the Parque del Sol.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

There are 2 water parks on th coast; Mijas Aquapark and Torremolinos Aquapark. Day trip to Gibraltar to see the southern most point of Europe, go up the Rock to see the famous Apes, the historical tunnels and St Micheal’s Caves.
There is also the possibility of day trips to Granada to see the Alhambra Palace or to Sevilla. Mijas Village is only a short bus ride. Mijas is a typical white Spanish village with panoramic view over the coast. Fuengirola main local festival/fair is 6th-12th October. The zoo makes for a great day out. Don’t be fooled by the small exterior of the zoo, it covers a remarkable area.

Los boliches offers a host of bars and restaurants and is only a 15 minute walk away along the promenade. There are the remains of a Roman villa worthy of a visit. These can be found in Los Boliches. Los Boliches itself has its own beaches, shops and much more. It is a little quieter than Fuengirola centre. Los Boliches another suburb of Fuengirola has its traditional fishing festival/fair 12th-19th July.
