New Underground Station Terminal 3

The new suburban train station in the new Terminal T3 building has now opened ahead of schedule as it was not due to start operating until at the end of the year.
The suburban train service links Malaga Airport with the city centre in one direction and the resorts of Torremolinos, Benalmádena and Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol in the other.
The new station has provisional access from the exterior arrivals area until the adjoining building work is finished. The arrivals area can be reached through the terminal or via the transportation hub which leads to the pedestrian footbridge to the car park buildings P2 and bus station.
To access it from T2 you will have to walk five minutes with the help of travelators. The new train station is situated underground, but it is very spacious with plenty of natural light as it is partially built with glass walls and roofs.
