Castle of Sohail Fuengirola record number of visitors

In the months of July and August, the Castle of Sohail Fuengirola sees over 190,000 visitors. The castle can be found in the town of Fuengirola Malaga, which sees many events and concerts throughout July and August in the city. Acts such as the Medieval Market VII, the Fuengirola Pop Festival, the City of Fuengirola XVI Festival, the Festival
Be Sweet, the Third Great Beer Festival, and the Festival of Music House ‘Life’ make the city a popular destination for visitors in the summer. The Arab Fortress has also come back to host a Summer Terrace.
The most popular event was the Third Great Beer festival. Over a hundred thousand people showed up, while the Medieval Market came in a close second place with over 80,000 people throughout four days.
The concerts that were held during the Sweet Sea Festival also brought together a good amount of people, with over 8,000 people coming to enjoy various musical acts. Musical artists such as The Rebels, Coque Malla, The Hungarian, Danza Invisible, and Sergio Contreras all performed.
Councilman Rodrigo Romero said that the large amount of people who visited the castle, even considering the popular concerts nearby was a “positive development” for establishing the city as a great place to visit in the summer.
